Goats?

I live in a city. Now it may be a small city, but its got a university in it, so its nothing to sneeze at. Amusing juxtaposition: Across the street from my apartment complex is large fields of horses. Next to that are chicken houses. I volunteered at the animal shelter today, amidst the constant soundtrack of a crowing rooster that they have. They also usually a chicken or two. A couple of weeks ago, they had about 8 goats in a pen because somebody couldn't take care of them. Goats. At the animal shelter. There was a goat in Tate plaza today for the Ag majors fair, just chilling and eating some hay. One of the problems plaguing the university is the hundreds of feral cats that live on or near campus.

I never realized how funny this is until i sat back and thought about it. Welcome to the south... and farm animals!

I feel warmly welcomed. You ever chase any of these goats? It's pretty fun.

mahaha, oh the south, how i miss thee. i speak to my roommates sometimes of the south (they are all from the north) and they look at me as if i live in a different country, which it almost is. and referring to your previous post, i enjoy reading your blog and was always inspired by you to write when you wrote stories on grandpa's dinosaur computer at the lake.
